Hi
I have had a Spyder RT - S SE5 2010 Model since Dec 2010 - It was one of the first to be brought into the UK
Used it for touring Europe 3Times and a Trip up to Scotland
When the RT SE6 Model came out in 2014 I decided to wait to see how they were and with my retirement due in 2015 Decided it was the time to upgrade
Well today was that day Picked up my Spyder from GS Jet Tec the London Dealer who had worked on it for several days due to the extras I wanted fitted - Some of which I had fitted to my Spyder 2010 Model e.g. Bajaron Swaybar, HMT Light, Spyderpops Bumpskid
as these were either fixed or different to the 2015 RT I sold the RT with them on and had the dealer order and fit new ones
They did a fantastic Job and I can't thank them enough
I decided to buy the Base Model RT SE6 Due to the saving against the Limited as I already had a GPS – Did not need the luggage etc With the savings I was able to have fitted the following fitted or work undetaken
Model Can Am Spyder RT Steel Black SE6 STD – Reg - RT13 SPY
SPY147L - 2014-15 RT BUMPSKID WITH LED's - (Some of the LED's are not working and Spyderpops is sending out
a replacement which will be fitted by the dealer once it arrives)
SPY151 - 2014+ RT STAINLESS STEEL KOTT GRILLES
New style + Brackets ( Pearl White) as fitted to RT-S RT-LTD
Bajron Sway bar inc BILLET ALUMINUM END LINKS.
Fender Amber front LED’s – Fitted so they also act as Indicators
Front Red Fender LED’s – running light and brake light
Rear Saddle bag LED’s
Genises LED RT HMT – side + Brake Light
Genises LED RT MFL Brake Light – Rear Fender/Mudflap
Elka Shocks Front and Rear
5 interface units for the various LED's
3 Chrome Kits - BRP OEM
Windshield Trims
Rear side cargo Trims
Rear Trunk top Trim
1 Extra Key
Supplied by Me to be fitted by Service Dept
I Complete Windshield Drive Mechanisms, With a Billet Windshield arm fitted to replace the original Windshield Drive Mechanism and arm
Zumo 660 with Touratech locking bracket to connect to the onboard Audio system
Rear rubber mud flap
Lazar Alignment to be carried out prior to pick up (No charge from dealer agreed)
My old Spyder had just over 18,200 Miles on it and it never let me down
Have no wish to knock the 998 Model as it did everything I wanted it to but
with the reviews on here ref the New SE6 and this may well to be my last Spyder purchase, I just went for it
It is an excellent machine and I have to agree with all the positive comments posted about it
The only issue I have is getting use to the Engine breaking its like you are putting on the brakes but I guess it will just take time for me to master it
I have posted a few pictures to show it off
