• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I've been bitten....not looking good

Kratos

Ultimate Spyderlover
I've been bitten by "Super Car" fever. My dream car has always been this....

2013-SRT-Viper-1.jpg

It was discontinued for 3 years, and I thought it was wiped away from the face of the planet. But now it's back, and back for blood. Totally redesigned with 640 naturally aspirated horsepower and an interior designed by Ferrari. But at $100+K, I have to pool some cash together to make it happen. I've already sold 2 of my 5 cars. I was hoping Knight wouldn't be involved in this but it turns out he might be. So my question is, how much is Knight worth.....???
2012 Spyder RS-S
SE-5 Transmission
3000 miles
HMF Exhaust
Green Filter
And the baddest led setup in the land....

So between the Spyder bites and the Viper bites... your wallet is dead! :roflblack:

But the new viper is sharp! :2thumbs:

I went to an 'SRT' track day once (if you're familiar). That was a few years back. They let us drive all the 'SRT's' except the Viper. I was lucky enough to be driven around the race track (somewhere in PA.) in the Viper. The driver taking the turns at 135 mph was something I've not done before; obviously on the straight aways he was doing much more. It was a lot different than going in a straight line at 145 mph (in the winter on wet roads) in my 1970 Challenger, 440 c.i.

Since I have no idea of what your finances look like...
Keep Knight in your hip pocket; only throw him on the pile if the conditions absolutely warrant it at that time. :2thumbs:
You've put a lot of yourself into that bike; it'd be a shame to act in haste...

Yeah I know. I'm gonna try to see if I can work around it and do both. I'm definitely not fond of someone else getting credit and glory for my baby.

Good for you if you can make it happen. In 2008 we were particpating in the annual Shelby Dodge club event in Michigan. The club rented the road course at Waterford Hills, and the Chrysler guys were invited. Ralph Gilles brought his personal SRT-10 Viper and ate everything on the track. I have been drooling over these ever since, and the reincarnation of the Viper is awesome! The new body is fantastic! At my age I'm looking to sell off my collector cars for retirement, so go for it if you can!

That new Viper is beautiful. Drool, Drool, Drool :roflblack:

There is one up here that I see every once in awile. It is also red. I don't see it in the winter though, so am guessing that it is a "fair weather" car.

You should hang on to your beautiful :ani29: if possible. You never get out of them what you put into them when you consider depreciation and the fact that accessories are usually worth 1/2 to none when selling or trading. You know the drill, so will not say more on that.

Good luck in your pursuit of beauty and speed. Keep us posted and like Bob said: Pictures, pictures, pictures.

There is no such thing as a fair weather vehicle, Just fair weather drivers. nojoke

If you sell your Spyder your title of Ultimate Spyderlover will be up for grabs. I call dibs.

And you better talk to Bob about the cost of insuring that beautiful beast before you lay down $100 Grand. :yikes: Gotta figure many thousand $$$$ a year??

Other than that I'm insanely jealous! That's my dream car.

Best of luck!
