• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No prize for me. You have me stumped.:bowdown::bowdown:

Who's that guy...

I do not know either.
However, at each of those events, several people were overheard saying: "Who is that guy with Dave?"

Dennis Gage
Sam the guy from Back yard garage
the kid with the goatee from Powerblock on Spike TV

am I close?????:clap::clap::clap:

My Guesses

Not sure about one, but all the rest I think I know. Here are my guesses: Dennis Gage, Parnelli Jones, Kevin Tetz, Linda Vaughn, John D'Agostino, and the one I am not sure is the guy on the scooter who I think is Arlen Ness. How did I do?

I'm out...

Only know the cars....When I wrenched I could look at a customer and tell him what bike he rode what work had been done and where it was....but I could not call him by name....I will forget ones name before I cross the room....:roflblack:

Well with you being from Muncie Indiana, I understand why you know most of them
You are a CAR GUY ...
Kevin is correct... He in a former life was the lead singer of a Canadian Rock Band BIG HAIR and all.
Can you name the group? The lady is Linda Vaughn, "Miss Hurst" You drag racing fans should recognize her...
Yes that is John D'Agostino, he lives about 10 miles from me near Brentwood Ca. I have known hime since he was in
Jr. High school however I knew his father first... his dad worked at U.S. Steel in Pittsburg CA in the 60's & 70's
Dennis Gage is correct.. He has a Ph.D. in chemistry, Dennis accepted a position as a product development scientist at The Procter Gamble Company in Cincinnati, Ohio. There he either worked on, or created, most of PGs food
products in the store including Pringles, with which he bears a striking resemblance to the
handlebar mustachioed character on the can. Dennis holds a number of patents on PG
products. So when you see him call him Doctor Gage.
YES that is my HERO Parnelli Jones, that photo was taken the first time I met him in person 2006.
The guy on the scooter is NOT Arlen Ness, father of Corey He lives in the San Francisco Bay area, in Danville.
Here is a hint... the fellow on the scooter is from Fresno, CA is a famous car builder, farmer, he was the key speaker at
George Barris's funeral, and good friend and colleague of Gene Winfield also a famous car builder and painter...
He owned the Fresno Autorama, of which I showed vehicles in it 3 times, that show was by invitation only,
He hand picked every car truck motorcycle that was ever in that show by going to every show in the country and giving
an invitation to the owner in person if he liked and wanted yours in his show... He was my friend and I am sorry to say
he died Sept. 2nd. of this year.....
That should be plenty of hints.....
Dave

Well I know who the 5th photo is but since I didn't get any of the other ones, well I did know who Linda, Parnelli, and Dennis are, anyway I don't feel right in naming him here. I'll PM you.

5th Guy

With all of those clues, it's hard not to get it. The 5th guy is Blackie Gejeian who must have just passed away recently like you said. I am somewhat of a car guy, but I have to credit Google for a lot of help! Oh yeah, the rock band that Kevin Tetz was in was called Nova Rex.
