• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It's Official.

Sounds like your ST is having the same (clutch) type problem as mine. Had work done on my clutch system last year and it is in the shop again this year 4000 miles later doing the same thing..

Mine is a 2013 STS SM5

So what is the deal with the clutch? I was looking at a new 2015 ST Limited SE5 ... don't want it if they have known issues out of the gate.

He's got the SM5, you're looking at the SE5. We've got 6k on our one year old ST-L and the SE5 works just fine.

Glad to hear that you have fallen prey to the spyder. We bought an ST-S SE5 in april and have already put 4500 miles on it. I find that it makes a great daily rider, and that it will allow me to start my riding season earlier, and end it later. The one piece of advice I have for you is to check your oil level every few weeks, and change the oil at regular intervals. I also know from experience that you can ride the ST like the back tire is on fire, and it will be just fine.

Congratulations :ohyea:

Just sayin'............

:ohyea::congrats::2thumbs: Great choice - welcome to miles and miles of smiles - post picture when she/he/it gets home:riding:

:welcome::congrats: I hope you enjoy your ST as much as I enjoy mine! Great machine! Don't forget to read "Dos and Don'ts for new Spyder Owners" a thread here on

Spyderlovers.com. Lots of great info in there for newbs.

Enjoy the new ride and ride safe!!
