• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It's Moving Day!!!

:congrats: Now you can sleep tonight!!

Not a Big fan of the Color-Just doesn,t seem like much to match it with?

Aaron the technician, spent about an hour with me kicking around the various features... He knew that this wasn't my first rodeo, so we spent more time on the various new features of the bike...
This is Henry; my Buddy of over 35 years... It's Home 015.jpg He provided the tow rig for today's journey. He rides a Tri-Glide; but still pronounced the bike as "Gorgeous". He and his Wife; Sandy, will try to get a test ride in on one at the Americade convention.
"Bull:cus:!", I told him.... You bring Sandy up to the house, and take this one for a spin! I'll follow you on the Tri-, if you want! :D
I may just go downstairs, and stare at it for a while!

I had to say "G'Bye" to an old friend today too...
They say that you can like somebody for their strengths; it's their weaknesses that will make you love them.
I feel the same way about motorcycles.
I've owned a lot of them in thirty-five years; I've only loved a very few...
My 1983 Gold Wing Interstate... that weak-kneed, underpowered,head-shaking thing carried me for over 50,000 miles...
There was a 1989 TransAlp... too funky for it's own good, yet it STILL did everything pretty darn well!
A 1982 Suzuki GS450TX a real cheap little tooter that I turned into a pretty capable touring rig. Small and underpowered; I put over 10,000 miles on that bike in one year... the most ever for me!
And then there's Fawkes... He's had a deposit put down on him... I hope; no... I wish that he brings the lucky folks that get him at least half the happy memories that he brought to me and Kathy... Folks told me that he had no low-end power, that he'd empty his battery of electrons in about a day and a half, that the clutch plates would melt, that he revved too high, and that he might set my foot on fire...
And not a bit of that mattered; nor did it ever happen!
So I went looking for him... and found him in the dark...
I guess that i'm just an old softie  The pictures are blurry because my hands were shaking, and I had something in my eyes...

YOu've sure earned a spot in a heated garage! :2thumbs:

My World is finally starting to feel right again... :D
These bikes change color like nobody's business; depending on the light that they're in... :2thumbs:
The torque of the triple is absolutely undeniable!!:ohyea::yes:
The engine has a mean-sounding raspy tone to it... definitely NOT like any diesel that I've encountered... :roflblack:

...and get my radio stations pre-sets in place...
...and adjust the bass, treble, and front to rear balance of the speakers...
...and install the XM receiver...
...and... :roflblack:

:2thumbs::congrats::yes::yes: No more waiting!!!! I am so happy for you. You are going to love it. Since you don't have to worry about keeping the rev's up or ruin the clutch plates etc. etc. You can take it out to your large drive way and ride it from one end to the other and have FUN FUN FUN until the sun melts all of the snow away. It is a real beauty!!! Hope to see you at Spyder Fest.

Congrats Bob! Looks like Walton has a bit of snow from the pictures in the background. I have been to that dealer many times with my snowmobile buddies who have always bought their sleds from them. I hear they are great people. Hope to see you at Spyderfest!

Congrats on getting your new Spyder Bob. :f_spider: It was a long wait. But worth it! Tom :trike:

Many congratulations!!

Thank you so much for the pics....I shall look forward to many more!
Doesn't it feel so great to realise your dream after so many weeks of waiting and
getting somewhat frustrated by the almost inevitable delays?
My best wishes to you and the 'better half'........
