• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It's home :)

After spending a couple weeks inquiring about add-on's, my new 2019 F3-S is home. Got a nice trade value for my 2016 Triumph 800 Tiger XCx, pulled the trigger and rode it home yesterday. 45+ year two wheeled rider, but this is my 1st Spyder. After retirement, I sold Spyders from 2013-2015 so they're not totally new to me. I negotiated heated grips, Shad luggage-mounts and a two up shock in the deal. Installed a driver backrest yesterday. Today I ordered an ARC LED driving/fog light kit and Model B USB/12V power kit from SlingMods. Tomorrow will be a (2) shield kit from Madstad. Now to figure out how I want to run my battery tender lead.Thinking of drilling a small hole in the bottom of the frunk and running it through a grommet. This will allow me to also keep my phone/IPod/ect charging out of the elements.

On my 2015 F3S, the Tender cable can be routed up from behind the battery and out to be zip ties to the inside of the frame (I used the right, throttle side). So put that drill bit away!

Congrats!

Use an optimate battery tender and routed the cable to the back side of the frunk. Zip tied it on the opposite side of the coolant reservoir under the top plastic cover (just bellow the headlights).
Connector is accessible trough a small opening on the right side of the top plastic cover.

Exactly like this: https://ourdiyblogs.wordpress.com/2017/07/15/spyder-f3t-battery-tender-extender/

I know some dealers will pre-install a pigtail cable, so you might find one already there or attached to the A-Arm.

Nope, no BT lead as I inquired at delivery. The dealer suggested as Mako/Johnny suggested. My only thought with just popping it through the frunk was that I can keep my phone/IPod (helmet comm) out of the elements. I'll play around with it today after popping out the frunk box and upper panel. Thx !

congratulations....🎉🎉🎉

Looks like you made out like a bandit with a leap into the mods and making it yours..!!
