I haven't been on my Spyder for almost two weeks now because of all the rain here in Alabama. The weather pattern has been such that moist air is being drawn up from the Gulf and colliding with cooler air out of the north. As a result, it's been raining every day for 2+ weeks now! Lawn sure looks good, though (but it's too wet to mow).

And now we have a tropical storm coming ashore. And another one forming in the Atlantic. Great!

Sunday is supposed to be 95 up here in the Seattle area... very unusual. We have a more temperate climate. I have a BRC to teach this weekend. Hopefully no one shows up in full leather!! ray:

The reason I'm so pissed about all this rain is, June is (usually) the last month of comfortable riding weather before the nuclear summer blast kicks in July-August. So down here, we're getting shafted by Mother Nature.

Ah........but how many times have we heard that it's a "dry heat" and "dry heat" is not as hot at 100 degrees as it is with humidity at 100 degrees? In my professional opinion :roflblack: it is - - just stick your head in a hot oven and get back to me......:yikes:

Tried the oven thing and......nothing. :shocked: My microwave won't turn on with the door open hyea: Anyway, It is a dry heat here. Only problem is the temperature has been 115+ every day for the last week or more. All is good at 100 but when we get above 110, that's a whole different ball game. Going outside is like walking into an oven. One day last week I even considered slow cooking my BBQ ribs in the BBQ without lighting it. I checked the temperature and it was only 130 so not quite hot enough.......but close.

Up here in Vermont we have a very rainy spring, summer. I ride my spyder between rain storms. We have had enough rain. We need hot, humid weather, sun- shine. Next week the weather forecast is cool, fall like weather :banghead: :gaah: Deanna
