• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It's here and in bed in my garage........

What a machine. Goes like a scalded cat. Great on the sweepers. Still coming to terms with the tighter turns as I feel like I'm tipping over, even though I'm not.

It travelled beautifully up the freeway.....no squirrelling at all......no death grip, I guess;)

F4 windscreens here I come. I am about 4" too tall for the new lipped stock Limited screen and it beat me up badly.

Didn't notice belt vibration at 70mph, but that could have been due to the screen issue above.

The Cannonball seat will probably also need replacing. I am used to all day comfort on the Daylong and I started to squirm after an hour. I'll try an Airhawk on it first though.

It would be great to have a cruise control throttle roll off/resume or a cancel/resume like the Vision had for when you are coming up behind slower overtaking traffic, but I'll soon get used to that. FORGET I SAID THAT.....READ MANUAL FULLY BEFORE COMMENTING IN FUTURE !

The brake pedal is still hard to operate with my long legs, even in #5, but not enough to really worry about.

Can't wipe the grin off my face. Thanks to all for your assistance.

First dibs on the Cannonball if you decide to go the RDL route.

I'd love to give you first dibs, fellow Pete, but the shipping costs would send you broke. I had to return a touring Daylong seat once, as they did not get it right the first time. When the shipping company quoted me $480, I nearly fell over. :yikes: Luckily Daylong came to the party and split the cost of the Oz to US shipping and picked up the full return US to Oz ship cost.

You need a sway bar upgrade - will get rid of most of that feeling. Had exact same unpleasant sensation on my F3-S until I fitted a standard RT bar (removed by owner to fit a BAJA Ron) to mine.

If you can find someone in Oz who's taken one off a 2014+ RT it's a great free/cheap upgrade. Mine was free to a good home form a forum member in the US.

Otherwise Baja Ron's F3 bar is even better at removing the lean by all accounts.
