• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It's been fun, but time for change.

I've had a great time with the Spyder, but I had the opportunity to move on to something else. Reno's Yamaha in the south KC area just started stocking Ducati, so say hello to my new ride! It's a 2010 Multistrada 1200 ABS. I'll stop in occasionally to see what's new. Take care everyone!

Congratulations on a great bike - sometimes the urge to lean just kicks in! The Multistrada is one of my husband's favorites, along with the Hypermotard just for the thrill every now and then. I just started riding my new Diavel in the last two weeks (getting over a broken leg during which time the Spyder was my favorite & only ryde) and am also loving it. Have fun, take care on the new bike and keep in touch with your Spyder family.

I was just talking to Hans about you and the spYder when he was up here last week.. Enjoy your new ride brother..

Thanks to all! After a couple of rides around the KC area, I can tell you the bike handles great. The spyder was a ton of fun, but it's nice to lean and have the two wheel experience.

And Joe, don't let Hans fool you. I'm sure the guys around the office aren't going to get nearly as much entertainment from me now that I've traded the Spyder. They can't use all the "training wheel" and "tricycle" jokes they've developed with their incredible wit. :sour:

Congrats Bean! That's a sweet ride ya got there. :ohyea: I know what you mean about the 2 wheel experience. There is nothing quite like it. That's why I switched too. Well, that and other things. I still have the Spyder, but I just don't ride it any more. That will probably change once the newness of the new bike wears off. Realistically though I will probably end up selling the Phantom.

So enjoy yourself and ride safe man!
