• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

IT'S A SAD DAY

This past sunday i cleaned, waxed & stabilled the bikes. put battery tenders & covers on so my riding season is officially
over. I have all winter to install my garage door openers on both bikes.
Worse part is I am home on sunday mornings and my wife hates me being home, any advice on where i can find a
girlfriend for the winter?

It :yikes: horrifies me just to think about putting bikes away for an entire winter. I'm so very happy we can ride year round here with only an occasional few days of nasty weather that shuts us down. I'll do what I can to ryde through the winter on your behalf. :riding:

Sorry to hear about your winter blues.
How do you plan on installing your garage door openers?

Rod

i bought the ones made for bikes, the one for the spyder goes where the blank is on the rts next to the heat & frunk release buttons, on the
scout it is a small button & i have to see where to mount it.

Truly sad.....

Bummer... but seems to be the luck of the draw. I do think about ya'll as we ryde on ;:sour: not happy with the state but love the ryding...guess I'll grin and bare it...:roflblack:

If you consider your :spyder: to be your "girlfriend," you will most likely stay out of trouble. Maybe some additional "farkles" over and above the garage door openers to keep you working on the spyder.

I have had all three bikes parked for about three weeks now. I feel your pain.

Move. We endured 12 years in Michigan. Ice on the floor in my garage! Enough of that! Sunny Las Vegas is delightful! The hot summer is a pia, but the warm winter more than makes up for it! We travel north in summer for cooler climate, and it works out great! We ride every day! We are quite happy with LV!

I share your Spyder Withdrawl Pain. I put my RTL into hibernation the last week in October. We had almost no Spring this year, and only six weeks of fall. Winter temps arrived on November 1st. The first significant snow is expected Thursday.

OVER??? O V E R !!!!???
Heck no. Never. You know there be a 50-60 degree day in a week. Just say it's hybernating...lol

Putting mine into winter storage today. Supposed to be 50 today, then snow tonight. Have about a 40 mile ride to Brother in Laws place to store for the winter. Snowblower prepped and ready.
