• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Over the last three days the snow here has melted from 3' to 2'.:yes: Spring is on the way!! Oh, I forgot, there is still snow and ice on my roof and water dripping into the family room. But Hey!! I'll clean up the water, paint the ceiling, and the RT will STILL probably be in hibernation!! Maybe by then the "fix" will be in.

The temperature today reached a high of 17 above. The sun was doing its work well, and my driveway continues to melt. Another inch or so and the ice sheet will be gone.:yes:

3/4 Thawed

We had eight inches of snow on the ground four days ago and now we're down to two inches. That's 3/4 thawed out here in Northwest Ohio. We just need some rain to rinse the salt off our streets & highways.

You obviously don't ski.
If I want to ski this weekend, I have to drive 2 hours north instead of 30 minutes.
Having said that, I'm kind of sorry I didn't bring my Spyder to work today.

The snowbanks are starting to recede down here as well!!:ohyea::yes: We've still got a long way to go before everything is cleared up, and the RT can awaken from this interminable sleep...

...But at least we're seeing some progress! :2thumbs:

we will reach 70 here today and have rain for the fourth day in a row and its going to continuw to rain until sunday.then one pretty day to ride adn then turn cold again. ah, spring in alabama.

It was 67 here yesterday. 57 here today....the snow is all gone... There is hope in site....
lots of bikes out yesterday ... Not me... Now we just need a good rain and we will be set..

Ditto Here

That salt is brutal on any exposed metal surfaces, especially aluminum. Chrome gets damaged too but aluminum rims etc. get pitted. I'm waiting for some good rain here.

:agree: A couple of decent rainstorms are the final piece of the puzzle!

Live in Michigan, was 50 tpday! Went for a short ride (100 miles ). Felt great, roads were dry, will give her a bath tomorrow.

Today the temp was 50 degrees, Sunny, but we still have ALOT OF SNOW, I can see part of my driveway, Rain/ or snow showers tonight, temps cool down tomorrow in the 30's, but next week highs in the 30's & 40's rain.

The rivers are still covered with snow/ice ( some rivers have small channels that are open) Our roads still have salt on them. I still have at least 2 feet of snow on lawn. But it is slowly melting WOHOO Spring is on the way WOHOO Hurry up Spring!

I think that by the middle of April the snow will be gone! :gaah::gaah: :roflblack::roflblack: But the 2nd week of April my spyder will be out of hibernation WOHOO! Deanna

Balmy

We had what seems balmy, 53 degrees with lotsa sunshine. Lots of snow on the ground yet but more and more grassy areas are getting exposed. Lots of puddles in the streets and quite a bit of salt in places yet. It's supposed to be a lot like today again tomorrow, bring it on!!
