It reprogrammed itself

I went for a ride on 3/8/2012 and when I started out the gauges where in MPH & Fahrenheit, in about 10 miles everything turned to metric. I got to were I was going and changed it back and in 5 min. it change back to metric. Today I changed everything back to MPH and it stayed.

Could be signs of a need to replace the dash cluster. My original one kept defaulting to French & had to be replaced.

My '09 RS has done that a few times....I think it is something to do with the button you push to start the engine.....but who knows???? easy fix.....but frustrating
