• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It may not actually belong on this forum...

Many of us are interested in other brands also. The Valkerie picture looks a whole lot like the F6B. I would be interested in looking up more information. Would you share Bob? Thanks

It looks like the F6B minus the hard saddlebags. This is for sure a logical extension of the F6B. Most Valk owners liked to customize their bikes up and this new version makes a great platform. I did not see any other spec differences based on just a quick look. I like the 28 inch seat and the 750 #'s. It is a couple years late for me, but------it's great to look. With less weight and bling to cause drag--I am betting this one is going to be FAST.

Why..!!

nice looking bike..but too many look like that. I really have to look for the brand to know who's it is...:ohyea:

I remember Lamont commenting about this machine on Facebook. He's a big Valkyrie fan but he did not really care for this model. It is unique. How many out there liked the Rune?

I remember the Rune. That was also one wild and crazy looking ride. Actually saw one in person.
Also wonder if they have appreciated in value since they were such a limited item as far as production numbers and time offered for sale.

:agree: Honda's design studio must have had the hookah loaded with something stronger than normal when they came up with the Rune...

I am usually attracted to wild, crazy, and different, but even I said Whoa!-- on the Rune.
This is not meant as an anti Rune comment. It was just too different for me. Did not mean to ruin anyone's opinions of the Rune.

Did a demo ride on the Rune at Vintage days ( I think) in Ohio. Not a bad ride in a straight line, do not try to turn. Came back from the ride and had to make a U turn to get in line. Scared me to death. Price for a single seater was out of sight. I never cared for the looks either.
Does Edsel come to mind here ???

The Valkyrie is a bullet proof machine...as is most of Honda bikes.....good for 200k to 300k.....we have had Valkyries since June of 96....that's when we met Lamont.... still own 2 valks....I'm not sure how I like the new Valk.....think the F6B is sexy.....but I would like to see cruise control and heated grips ...then trike it out.....sure like the reverse trike coming to America....we'll see how it preforms for a couple of years.....most Valk guys are not impressed....the young Valk guys like it.....I agree that is looks like others....needs it's own personality....Now the Rune...is just freakin' gorgeous....neighbor down the road has one....
