• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It looks like today is the day.

Woke up this morning to ice covering my road. We got a little snow/rain mix yesterday, but that turned to freezing drizzle.

Time to park the :spyder2:'s for the big sleep. The upside, we had the warmest, driest, summer and broke a record over that. Also, got to ryde the :spyder2:'s 34 days longer than I have ever done since moving to Alaska. A great season.:clap:

Same thing here in NY. We had a little bit of snow on Friday and the snowplows finally put salt down on the roads. That for me is when I put the bike up for the winter as I do not want that stuff rotting my bike. I filled the tank, put in some Sta-bil and pulled the battery. I can now start working on my lengthy list of updates to get it ready for spring. Hang in there because you know it will be here before you know it :)

YOurs turned into real snow?
Down here (about 140 miles Southeast); it was more like "flurries on steroids... nothing appreciable; but the threat was very well-implied!

Current plans are to go to the Black Hills after I complete Spring semester. We are going to fly to Rapid City and rent :spyder2:'s for either a Badlands National Park trip or Devils Tower Ryde.

We did Hawaii earlier this year.

We ended up with 6 to 8 inches of snow in my area. It is now a beautiful winter wonderland. Time to get fresh gas for the snowblower and get the snow cleared out of the driveway. Only 141 days till April 1st. Then it will be time to ryde. Hopefully, a little bit earlier. :dg1::dg2:
