• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It Has Happened...

Do we need to follow federal migratory regs and plug the gun?

If so I'll load some #4's for the follow up shot.

Could a paintball gun take one of these out?? That way no one would get in trouble for shooting within city limits here..... Just sayin'..... :)

Here's the thing....

These drones have limited security built in and there are remote scanners that if within reach can highjack the signal and you can take control of the drone...:yikes: then you can make the delivery wherever you like....:lecturef_smilie:

It looks as if the time has come, to keep the Model 12 by the door, with the magazine full of #6 shot...

How do I get to the story, if I'm not a member of the WSJ? I'm just wondering about the pros and cons for drone delivery, and do you and others have the same arguments against for those that fly drones as a hobby like AY4B?

Without reading the story, are drone deliveries only to private addresses vs apartment complexes? Do you own a certain distance of air space above your house/land? :dontknow:

Holy crappola I'm going to be in serious trouble...

Clay pigeon I'm golden to "take out". But all this fancy woo woo stuff nope...I need help just to operate my electric toothbrush...so guess when the drones head my way I'll just figure it is a glorified clay pigeon and pull down!! :yikes::thumbup:

I found the article elsewhere.

I think it's very important that there be no delay in getting popcorn and a firestick to a customer. What's more important than that?

There was a short mention in the article about using drones for something as mundane as delivering medication in hard to reach places by normal route. Everyone knows popcorn and bacon are most important.

:agree: delivery of much-needed bacon supplies, does seem like a useful application for this technology.

And in my Remington Model 10, that is 5 in the magazine and 1 in the chamber.... total 6.
You should be easily able to keep the skies around you free of popcorn and firesticks! :roflblack:

Actually, very rarely put a round in the model 10. It's a 1917. Just keep it around because I don't sell guns, only buy them.
