• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Issue with 2008

Hello all

My 2008 semi-automatic is acting up. Unfortunately only with me and never with my mechanic. When the key is turned the display comes up, can hear the fuel pump, press M, then press starter and nothing...although I do hear the pump again. And yes it is always in neutral. This occurs intermittently.

Thinking solonoid or starter drive although that is not showing up when it's hooked up by the mechanic (probably because it doesn't fail for him).

Any suggestions

Thanks

Try using the button on the left handlebar instead of the 'M' button.

Could also be bad or mis-aligned Gear Position Sensor (GPS sensor) --- sending wrong signal and making it think you're in the wrong gear.

Even with the neutral light lit I needed to step on the brake to get it to start. Then it would clunk when shifted into reverse. If I knew it was in gear when I started it the shift to reverse was smooth. Methinks the mechanical link might be slightly off.
