• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ISCI where are they

Senior Moment
Anyone hear from ISCI lately? Just wondering they seemed to have a lot of good stuff but I have not heard anything from them as of late.

Last I heard was over a week ago from an email asking about floorboard "style" preferences. Earlier in the week I emailed Darrell about an update - updated pics. Have not heard anything back.

Last post was regarding hand brake and my sense was they might be dealing with the liability lawyers - and understandable step to go through if my sense was correct. I hope they make it

Yeah me too. Nice guys it seemed like. I just am sometimes to impatient. Lucky I found way to make foot brake work for now so I am riding.. If not I would be going crazy.. Thanks for update

The last correspondence I had with them concerning the foot brake was that they were having troubles getting the vendors for the master cylinder to agree to the volume and time frame they wanted....or somethin like that.
Im waiting patiently.....

ISCI Update

I have been e-mailing those of you individually who have asked for updates, but have not put out a mass e-mail or announcement because there has not been anything new to report. I apologize for the delays but there are a couple of issues I don't mind sharing that pushed us back some. These issues were out of our control, but will not impede us from providing quality products to you. As one of our employees says, it took ten years to develop the Spyder, and we want to get our after market parts right the first time.

We were having our legal department go over liability issues concerning the hand brake with a fine tooth comb. Anyone here who has dealt with legality issues and lawyers, knows it can be a slower process due to diligence. We also have had some volume and pricing issues concerning the master cylinders. It is imperative to us that we get good pricing and volume since we have to in turn include that in determining our retail price. We are trying to get the best price possible to keep the consumer's price down as well.

Our floorboards are manufactured and ready. We currently have stock to sell. Our issue there in determining price is when we looked hard at our manufacturing process given to us by our machinists, we noticed some things that could be done differently to reduce costs that were not necessary in manufacturing the floorboard. Those have been addressed and we have asked our shop to reissue us a new price to produce. That is the most current update I have for all of you.

Does the floorboard being almost ready include the brake assembly? Or is that tied up with the legal work being done on the hand brake?

Mike
