Thanks. Couple of follow-ups.

Do you supply a replacement brake lever for the stock BRP unit to accommodate your brake extension? I ask wondering if the owner has to grind/drill the stock BRP brake arm.

Whats the clearance between the exhaust and supprot arm? I ask due to a special (dual) exhasut project I have going on.

ETA for the shift arm for SM5s? Can you show near-prodcution pics for any shift arm extension?

Looks very nice. But IMO the price of about $1000 after shipping is way beyond my justification for a mod!

You must grind off the existing brake pad mounting channel. This is done with a brazen cut off wheel or a jigsaw with a medal blade. safety glasses required. One 5/16 th hole must be drilled to mount our brake lever extension. Painless procedure.

Whats the clearance between the exhaust and supprot arm? I ask due to a special (dual) exhasut project I have going on. Minimal clearance between the muffler stainless steel heat shield. Our experience is working with the stock muffler. Provide dimensional information we could possible alter our mounting bracket accordingly to fit your muffler requirements.

Some of those parts in are production as we speak and pictures will be available next week.

OK I notice the Floor board for the Passager is that included or my mind playing tricks on me?

Also the Foot brake is different then the orignal, will the orignal be available or will this cost more?

Do you have an idea what the shipping cost? I can only afford ground shipping now? :roflblack:

How do I order one, and will you have lay away plan for me? :roflblack:

I emailed someone yesterday will he still reply or do I just go by this.

:spyder:Thanks, Larry

Looks to me in the pic with the optional (means to me extra bux) passenger boards that the exhaust can has to be lowered.

Also the passenger boards seem to give more forward room and of course foot movemenet whereas the new BRP passenger peg extensions provde more forward and down room. Not good or bad - just an obseravation that may not be totally accurate.

venom21 - can you confirm?

WOW! the price.

OK I notice the Floor board for the Passager is that included or my mind playing tricks on me? Sold seperately for $450.00

Thank you.

The pricing might seem high to some, but again - you get what you pay for. Many say the same thing about Corbin products - but they are so well made that they justify the higher price.

If these are out of your price range - there are some other options out there. No sense trying to beat this vendor up about charging more for his products - only he knows how much $$$ has been spent on the development of them.

If I really felt a need, or wanted floorboards - these would be the ones - but I'm happy with the setup I currently have.

Well, I didn't mean to sound like I am beating him up. And, true, some will buy them. Just wanted to make him aware that I thought the price quite much. I realize that a lot of expense is involved in development, etc. I think they really look first class. I just wanted to express my opinion about the price.

Nice but the price ????? I made my boards for 40 bucks... Nice checkered plate with 3 dollar chrome trim..

I can imagine the price for hydraulic brake kit that everyone is drooling for. I figure it'll be 3 grand...

Have any pics? Here are my passenger boards. They are 4" x 7". Friend made them for a "Thank You!" They are not quite finished yet; picking up some rivits today to install some rubber on them.

Got pics?

Also realize that when you make something for your own bike - if it fails the liability falls 100% on you. If the the commercial boards fail and you come off the bike because of them - ISCI is the one getting sued.

I would hope the brake kit could come in under $1,000 - but really have no idea.

it should easily be under 500 bucks. the slave cylinder is about 80 bucks, the master/handle should run about 100 I think but dont quote me, and the mounting plate a few bucks and brake line...

i'll go take some shortly..

6 wide by 20 long, bolted directly into the existing holes in the foot pedal through the rubber. Runs all the way into front and rests just in front of the fan.

Maybe I am too old or just broken down...anyway I was curious how accessible the brake pedal shown in venom21s first-post pics would be for me.

So I stacked some scrap 1X8 on the ground so that the top board was just under the tupperware fairing and about just under the "ornamental" brackets for mounting the driver peg.

The only way I would be able to engage the extended brake pedal would be to lift my entire foot up and bring it down on the brake pedal - my ankle seemed to still be in a critial angle so there was no ability for me to raise the balls up my feet keeping my heel on the boards.

Does this make sense to anyone?

I was a bit surprised that it was very easy to raise my heel up on the ball of my brake foot and engage the stock brake pedal with my heel.

Now it looks as if the ISCI board sits lower than I am describing, but I am not sure from the pics.

And again for me it will be interesting to see what the extended (or replacement) SM5 shift arm is going to look like. I can see where if I rotate the existing shift arm downwards then it could server as a heel shifter but the heel would be a down shift and not an up[**** as on Harleys. Again - for me - upward movement of the front of my foot for toe up shifting is limited due to my ankle being at a critical angle.

I suppose some installed pics with people "in action" would be helpful.

With the liability insurance required to carry on an aftermarket brake system - it's going to be far more than $500. Even companies like Pazzo have to carry tons of protection just for their replacement levers.

Can you imagine the lawsuit if one of their brake units failed?

Even if the stock BRP brake setup failed - they are going to point the finger at anything aftermarket that is hooked to the brake system.

Very risky item to put on the market - so it ain't gonna come cheap.
