There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Isci hand brake performance?

Hello, just looking to find out what others have experienced with the brake kit. I have a 2010 rs, just got it this year with under 8000 km on it.

Installed the handbrake without issue. Bled it for a very long time. It is adjusted to the point where the brake light just barely goes off. My concern is that it takes at good double squeeze to get the spyder to really stop quick. First pull will stop it, but not quickly by any means.

I have been been in touch with isci many times. They sent me replacement master cylinder and slave cylinder, which I swapped out on hopes it would fix the issue. Same problem.

Bike brakes good and hard with foot brake.

Any ideas? What does your isci brake feel like? Will it activate abs on first squeeze?? Any feedback is much appreciated!

Line

Is your brake line braided stainless steel? If yes, take it to a shop with a power bleeder. Consider flushing the line completely, replacing with fresh fluid. Good luck! Joe

ISCI

I have about 2500 miles experience with my 2014 RS SE5 and the ISCI Brake.
I read the other thread on this topic.
Mine brakes sufficiently however I have nothing to compare it with as I can't use the footbrake.
I suspect my experience is different as many posters on the other thread have older bikes.
The newer bikes now have brembo calipers which I suspect stop better than the older bikes.
When I was younger I wanted to go faster now I want to be able to stop faster.
So the answer is I want more even when I feel I have enough. Bleeding, better lines, tight adjustment and better brake material are always in mind.
I will bleed both systems, adjust out any slack in the ISCI and change to better pads this spring, in my quest for more.
Can anyone with a newer bike recommend any specific pads and possibly rotors that are a definite improvement? Thanks
