• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is this much Oil usage normal?

I watched the development of the Spyder from its first appearance in 2007. Knowing I would need another wheel sooner or later if I wanted to continue riding, I begrudgingly said goodbye to my Harley in 2014. I jumped on the Spyder after considerable research and the rest is history. Now, after ten years of closely watching, I've never known my 1330 to significantly burn any oil. I likely remove more oil than it uses when I check the oil level and wipe it off the dipstick.

Lol! You're completely right. I go as far as not wiping the dipstick off on the the 2nd check. Every little bit helps. 😎

Now that is the most excellent explanation I've ever heard. May I have permission to use it? I promise not to make it sound like I thought of it myself.
