• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is this how people react the first time they see a Spyder?

When I first saw this SNL skit with Bill Murray and Steve Martin I thought it was to funny, although my sense of humor may have been enhanced back in the 70's.

I came upon it yesterday while looking for something on You Tube. I have to share this as I think it is still funny, just not as funny as I remember.

This could very well be the reaction of some people the first time they lay their eyes on a Can-am Spyder.

Well that certainly was a blast from the past!
We got a lot of mileage out of that. . . back in the day.

Thanks for the memories . . . a great laugh. :roflblack:

Is that a Teee Veee?

Too funny! Not too long ago, my wife & I had someone come up and repeated the exact same thing. We had stop for gas on some Virginia back road while ryding the Motorcycle Grand Tour of Virginia and this hobo looking (dirty clothes, unshaven, beat up old car) pulled up next to where we were parked and started yelling, "What the hell is that?" The funniest part is when we were answering his questions he noticed our GoPro camera mounted on the front trunk. He interrupted us and asked with his 'redneck' slang, "Is that a Teeee Veeee?" Julie and I couldn't hold back our laughter. Considering the GoPro camera is fairly small and several feet in front of us when sitting on the Spyder, my first thought was to say back in redneck fashion, "Yep, it projects right onto our windshield so we can watch Teeee Veeee while we're driving -- here's your sign!!" :) Of all the times we've been delayed while stopped to answer questions or let others look at our Spyder, this was definitely the most memorable stop.... :)
