There are some here who have exceptional hearing ( you might be one  ) and have noticed some " whine " from the previous re-design of the front pulley .... The last re-design the " white ones " were supposed to cancel that whine .... Now it has been reported that another NEW design is coming to Correct the " pulley failure rate for pulley's made after 2014 ..... good luck .... Mike

I have the whine at 70 Km/h, goes away at 71 km/h, under 70 no whining. Cannot wait for the new white pulley/sprocket

Thank you for the reply. I am talking about when the bike is first started, not on the move. It comes from the engine when cold.

Have that also and on my second pulley (a white one).

I would suspect it's rather related to somekind of harmonic vibration of the belt.
Maybe lowering the tension might help I've got mine set to the recommended 180lbs/ft.

Totally normal. Mine does it and I think all are doing it, still more noticeable on some then others.

It has been described as marbles jumping around inside and I believe it may have to do with the engine having a dry sump.
