Does anyone know what is the warranty on the recall new DSP unit, I had mine does last fall and I think it's not working again. Does this new unit comes with it's own or it goes with the bike warranty, guess I will have BRP chedk it out while in Maggie Valley.

I had 4 on my 08, although one never left the dealership before it was replaced. The 2nd generation finally fixed it.

Original + 1 replacement + 1 'second generation' DPS which seems really good.

Good question on the warranty of the DPS. The DPS can't be considered a 'wear item' like brakes or clutch - and since this was a voluntary recall (under pressure from NHTSA) - I would think their must be a decent warranty on them.

When they told me I needed to replace this again they did not mention a cost so I'm assuming I'm covered but then again I assumed it was repaired after the update to the update.
