• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Do you have any idea what year the RT was that this came off of? I ask because I think that the 12 and older had stitching near the glove box on the regular seat but the comfort seat was like the one you show. Measure from the front center of the seat to the backrest and let us know what that dimension is. A comfort seat is 2" deeper than a stock seat.

Upon further review :roflblack:, while I was looking up parts at www.can-am.brp.com my phone rang and it was my dealer so I asked him to look up the part # you listed. I had already determined that you were missing a 0 in the number, it should be 708000937, and I had found the numbers in the parts lists for stock seats and I couldn't find it there. He said that Comfort Seats, in the accessories catalogs start with a 219 part number so his first thought was that you don't have a comfort seat but then I went out in my garage and looked at my seat. My part number on a 2014 RTS Comfort Seat does start with 708, I also have a paper tag on the seat that says Comfort Gris (Comfort seat in Gray) but your doesn't have that.

So I would say that, yes you likely do have a Comfort Seat but measure it for sure.

I was told it came from 2012. I'll measure again. What threw me off was the number on the seat. Thanks,
Rob

When looking at the seat pattern, it looks like the BRP optional comfort seat. The BRP OEM has a flat seat design with seams that go towards the glove box. These seams come out from the middle portion of the seat and go towards the sides and down. That is suppose to relieve pressure from under the upper legs. It's pre-14 for sure because of no cut out for the backrest.
