• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is This A Motorcycle Shootout? Slingshot vs. Spyder F3 vs. Morgan 3 Wheeler

Still nice but...

has been around but still feel they should put the T-Rex and Elio in and leave the Spyders out. Don't know how the Slingshot is doing in Texas and Connecticut now...

completely agree...not sure how the Spyder is in a category with the Sling Shot or T-Rex for that matter. I think they are all "cool" machines but the Spyder is not set up like those two at all.

If this has already been posted, I apologize.

A great video. Thanks for sharing. This one was new to me.

It was great seeing three Y configuration vehicles compared together. We will never solve the issues of motorcycle, car, etc. as it will depend on which camp you are in.

I noted that most of the information about the vehicles was spot on--the man did call the Tranny an SE5 instead of an SE6 on the :ani29:.

IMO, the opinions were pretty much right on.

It's been around for a while - think it popped up on the "other topics" forum first.

I agree that all the 2x1 toys - that are not aftermarket mods - should have been included.

The more I look at the video the more I seem to be a Morgan/Slingshot type of guy :( :opps:

The Morgan is out due to its outrageous cost, so that only leaves the Slingshot & the wife's wrath.

However, I've just poked myself with a sharp stick & returned to financial reality.

Around here, (Quebec) you need a full motorcycle driver's license to drive a T-Rex or a Slingshot, but a car driver's license plus a 1day training with no exam for a Spyder!

Go figure what our provincial government masterminds are thinking...

...Ben...

Actually, that's a video of Ivor (the Slingshot) following us (the spyder riders) down to Keywest and back when we went on the cruise to Cozumel, Mehico. <snicker>

Chris
