• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Is this 2013 BRP RT622 trailer for sale at $1,700 a SCAM?

BRP RT622 trailer for sale 2013 $1,700 (Includes shipping from Atlanta GA) too good to be true? SCAM????

I saw an RT-622 trailer for sale on Facebook that looks maybe too good to be true. This same company - Wilson’s Motorsports Co. - has several other Can-Am trailers for sale. Prices, including shipping, range from $1,400 to $1,700.

Could this be a Scam? Does anyone on this forum live in Atlanta? Tell them you want to pick up the RT622 in person.

They are listed on this FB page: Can-Am Bikes and parts for sale

I messaged them and asked where they are located. They responded:

We are located in Atlanta, GA We can ship if you’re interested.

I responded that it might be too costly. Asked for a link to their website and asked for their accepted forms of payment. They responded:

We accept payment via Apple Pay, PayPal and chime It’s $1,700 shipped And you won’t pay anything else.

Photos of their trailers are all from different locations, inside garages and outside other garages. One photo of a white RT-622 shows an Alberta license plate. A Google image search shows this same photo on another FB post.

They also are listing other parts.

I have yet to find their company name anywhere on Google.

Just a heads up in case someone here runs across their posts.

I'd ask for an address, tell them you are going to be riding through Atlanta and want to pick it up on the way through and see what they say.
Let me also add, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is, there is no way they can sell you that trailer and ship it for $1700

At best, I think this is a re-seller dealing with items located... who knows where? Simply a 3rd party trying to get your money and have some unknown seller (maybe) send you the trailer. But, most likely, I do think this is a scam. Nothing but a Facebook page. No website, no store, no history... Just for giggles, I'd ask for the DOT numbers from the trailer tires. I'd bet you get no response or some kind of excuse why they can't be provided...

They contacted me yesterday and asked how much could I afford.

I responded and said I could pay $1,700. I also said I had a relative in Atlanta that would pick it up and he could bring cash. I asked for their address.

Have not heard back.

A 100% scam, no way anyone would sell one for $1700 unless it’s a friend… I wouldn’t buy unless I can pick it up… and I certainly wouldn’t sell mine for that price.

Just for fun I googled them. 2 entries on Facebook came up & when you follow them, their facebook page comes up with 'content not available at this time'.

Sounds dodgy (an Australian term for 'suspect', 'not real' etc. ) to me.
