Is there supposed to be a lift support for the drivers seat?

Spyder newbie here. Is there supposed to be some kind of support system to hold up the drivers seat when refueling? I recently purchased a 2022 RT Limited that I have to hold the seat up with one hand while using the other for the fuel nozzle.

Yes there is. The OEM one is not very good. You can also do a search on here an find out what others have done.

Welcome and congrats on you Spyder !
There should be a schock absorber holding your seat up for you. have a look underneath the seat and see if it is there.

The oem supports for seat and rear compartment lid are usually the first things one replaces for they do not last very long. Aftermarket ones are much better.

Slingmods sells a bracket that holds the seat up , and is much easier to install.
