• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

You could try Crutchfield, but most of us upgraded speakers and added a Bluetooth adapter that Lamonster carries. I got my '13 RTL upgrade speakers from Crutchfield, way better... And if it's really radio (like AM or FM) that you're having issues with, it could be an antenna connection issue that can be corrected.

As far as I know no one has come out with an after market radio to fit the Spyder, especially not one that integrates into the OEM audio system.

If you look at the schematics the radio is integrated in with the console electronics and thus non-replaceable as there is no separate unit for the radio.

The only way to replace the radio is to replace the whole console.

That's for 2018 on. Up through 2017 the radio was a separate unit but in addition to the audio connections to the main audio it was also integrated into the CanBus. The radio was controlled by CanBus commands from the console cluster.

Thank you everyone for the input!! i appreciate your time!! Randy

Don't waste time and money looking for a better radio, you already have one in your pocket. Go to the App. store on your phone
download Sirius XM radio and there you have every kind of thing you could ever want to listen to in your helmet
