• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is there an electronic Owner's Manual/Maintenance Manual available? Where?

Good afternoon everyone.
I finally has my 2009 Spyder delivered, I don't have much history on this spyder so I would like to go ahead and do the maintenance so I have a fresh baseline.

Does anyone have an electronic version of the manuals you could send me as my spyder didn't come with them.

Im planning on oil change to start off with. It seems to drive well, had a pretty hard clutch where it catches at the end range of the release. Stalled it out a few times because I guess I was not giving it enough throttle.

Any pointers and/or items I should updates at this time. It has 9k miles on it.

Ill have to post some pictures soon. This thing is a beast and when I say one of a kind.... I mean one of a kind.

Little checking.....

You can go online to brp and download the owners manual and the shop manual you can get from Green Manuals on amazon or ebay. This will cover the spyder. Check with the dealer with your vin# if all updates have been done on your spyder if not they can do that as well. Not knowing much about your ryde I would check the clutch lever position as it is adjustable or just flush the system and add new DOT4 fluid. Welcome to the world of spyders

I think you can get one at www.canammanuals.com. Low price, not free. I know later model manuals are there.

If you want an owner's manual, a.k.a. operator's guide, go to this link and drill down to your year and model:
http://www.operatorsguides.brp.com/...ee3-9828-1c9a137c225c&brands=roadster&type=og.

All user manuals are available

How to get the manual

Do a search on BRP User manuals
See link above

From the page use the drop down menu Select one (LHS)

Select Roadster

Select Year

The manuals RS, RT, F3 (Dependant on year selected) are listed at the bottom in various languages

Once you find the one you want
These are listed at the bottom of the page

e.g EN1 Operators Guide
You need to touch it to allow it to load into a new tab
once its loaded you can read through it

When you change the oil make sure its Motorcycle oil (synthetic) or BRP . If Not using the BRP Oil it should be rated JASO MA2!!!
MA is NOT MA2 -MA2 is best for Spyder engine. Good luck -I sold mine with 35,000 miles and Loved it!
