Is there a Replacement for the 2015 Spyder RT GPS Support for the Tri Axis handlebars

I currently own a 2015 RT with a Garmin GPS mounted in the center of the stock handlebars. I'm going to purchase the Tri Axis adjustable handlebars, and I want to re-attach my GPS unit to the bike. Is there a more cost effective option to buying and installing the Can Am OEM support unit (part #219400616), which cost about $230? Can a Ram Mount series of parts be used to mount to the bike after the Tri Axis handlebars are installed. I look forward to your recommendations.

Tri Axis

I just installed the Tri Axis and am using a Ram mount with my GPS. I have a Garmin that I've had for a few years for my car, in fact I swap it back and forth.

Did you bolt the base unit to the bike, or did you clamp onto the handle bars?

moved it to the dash

I didn't like the location on my 13 RT so Doc and I moved mine to the top of the dash and remounted it with a Ram mount. Took a bit of doing just getting the wiring out. (lots of tupperware to remove) but now it's up closer to eye level, I don''t use the GPS much but I like not having to take my eyes off the road to see it. Lots of links on here for doing it.

Mine is on the bike, not the bars. When you mount the Tri Axis, there are the 2 bolts to attach it to the Spyder (as opposed to the 4 bolts on the stock bars). I mounted the RAM mount to one of those bolts. Actually, I didn't physically mount it myself, I had my dealer do it.

I modified the original mount and installed on the Tri axis handle bars

Thanks for your response. Would you be willing to take a picture of your Ram Mount attached to your bike? Was the stock bolt long enough? I'm interstellar in seeing which ball mount you used.

Thanks.

Hopefully this is what you're wanting to see.
