• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is there a lower foot peg for the passenger foot peg assembly for F3L

I have removed the folding flat foot plate for the rear passenger. would like some sort of foot peg that is lower than the folding plate-like affair that would make it easier to mount up and swing my leg over.

Thanks in advance.

My wife put the third peg on from LaMonster and she can now get on her F3L much easier. She has had both hips replaced and without the third peg she was having a very difficult time getting on her F3L.

Well worth the $.

3rd peg all the way.

It was getting off that I struggled with.
On with the rear plates, off with peg for me.

Enabled Ryder Floorboards

I built 3rd pegs for my F3T and was pleased with the improvement in mounting and dismounting - until
I installed Ultimate Floorboards. Now mounting and dismounting is WONDERFULLY easy.
I cannot recommend the Ultimate Floorboards highly enough for us enabled ryders.

Another  for the third peg. I love the form and function, especially with the IPS frame covers.

I also have the 3rd peg from Lamonster Garage. One of the best options I bought for my F3S. I installed it myself.

Thanks Guys, ordered from Lamonster, easy peasy.

I have a torque Wrench and thread chasers, looking forward to installing it.

This is definitely one of the better forums out there.

Good stuff. Onya.

Like many i'm under no time pressure when wrenching in my shed, not on anybody's clock, cept wondering when the Mrs is going to pop out with that a cuppa tea.

Not at all worried if I have to stop and attend to something else. No Problemo. I turn off the light and shut the door.

Re the better forums.

While some posts on wrenching are on the money and best SOP there are some that could be improved on.
Bit rip and bust... what's next for me. Not by any means the best advice at all. Torques?... Pifft.. and so on.

Ya have to be able to sort the Wheat from the Chaff.

I do get questioned and get the Borax biffed in my direction from time to time by the that'll-do Rip and Bust Brigade.

I am really enjoying my new to me F3 L, thanks again Russ.

Lamont's 3rd foot peg has really solved the mounting and dismounting issues.

After about a 200 mile ride up in the mountains, snug as a Bug in a Rug with all its friends in the little shop behind the House.
