• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is there a difference between a GS seat and an RS seat

I just want to know if a seat from a 2009 GS model would fit on a 2009 RS model? I'm selling the RS and it has the Corbin 2 up seat with backrests. I'm wondering if I could put a stock seat on the RS and sell the Corbin separately... Thanks Spyder lovers! ALP

No

They are the same. The only change was from GS to RS . You will be able to switch them around without a problem.... and if you need an RS seat I and many others have one....

Just changes in designation for the model. The seats are the same.

RS is supposed to stand for Roadster Sport. Don't know what they were thinking of with GS.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I'm selling a 2009 RS with the two-up Corbin seat. One potential buyer was hedging on the price so I thought I could install a stock seat (and save him a few bucks) and sell the Corbin separately.

Is there any market for the Corbin 2-up seat?

Thanks All.....

You won't get what you paid for it if you bought it new, but you WILL get at least a couple hundred bucks, probably more. Been there, done that:thumbup: Never liked my Corbin , too hard and slippery.
