• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is the RT stable at highway speeds?

Speedo's..whazzat???

I'm talking GPS speeds... Speedo's are Model T Ford technology... ;)

With the speedos being way too fast, 80 mph is not much over the speed limit anyway. About all the cars/trucks on I85 in my neck of the woods run that speed. And if you get stuck behind a convoy of 18 wheelers the wind buffeting is pretty bad, so you drop back or pass. Thats my take on it. ;)

wandering

I followed someone's advice and put 20lbs of kitty litter in my frunk with a cooler and frozen water bottles. It had much less wandering. I had it up to 85 and passing semis with fairly stable tracking. I hate having to use all my frunk space for weights. Any ideas why this would have helped? I also felt some rumbling at the higher speeds that stopped when I stopped accelerating or slowed down. Maybe I just got a wierd bike.

Drove yesterday 200km at 80-120 kmh beside hurricane Irene, massive wind blasts, saw Hogs move around from paint line to paint line.
Had a GW pull up beside me at a rail crossing, he asks what I did to drive straight, he had a hell of a time.

I told him, relax, sit back, slight pressure on the tank with the knees and hold grips very lightly.
He looked, shook his head and said; that's how I commit suicide, I am getting cramps in my hands from holding the handle bars.
The wife/owner(of the spyder and me) was sitting on the back and told him, she had to hold tighter then I did.

He then told me that he had to investigate getting one of those things. Gave him a foldout card.

Is roaring up Rt 128/Rt 95 outside of Boston, during light traffic at 101mph stable? Uhhmm... Ya. :doorag:
