• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It is still showing up on SL under special events. You have to click on the 2021 picture. Surprised the 2020 stuff is still showing.

If there is someone connected with the event that would be willing to confirm or deny the event taking place this year, it would be great if you would give SL an update. No big deal for me, only 70 miles away, but if someone is coming from a few states away, that could be an issue.

The latest medical update on Lamont is that he is still in the hospital.

I received an order from Lamonster a few weeks ago, there was a flyer for "Spyders in the Ozarks" included in the box.

That would be hard to predict, I imagine. That part of Missouri reportedly is the epicenter for the US's COVID-19 Delta variant surge in cases. Hospitals in the region are overwhelmed, from what I understand.

I hope that is not the reason for Lamonster Garage's staff medical emergency.

Lamonster garage building was closed this week because of medical emergencies. I spoke to Steve Bingham a couple of days ago concerning routes and everything is still being planned to have the rally. I have been also hearing of the covid goings on and so far the governor is not planning to shut down anything. The Deadwood 3 wheeler rally went as planned. Everyone is on their way home. I still have hotel reservations and plans to go to SITO and am looking forward to it. We still have a couple of months till the event so stay tuned. We are living in a world that is changing day by day. Ozark Spyderlovers on Facebook are the ones organizing the rally so that is a site to go to to get info.

Where is everyone staying for this rally? First time going.

Spyders In The Ozarks.
Like last year, we've decided to go back to Greenstay CourtView.
It is located at 3370 E Battlefield and their phone number is
(417) 520-6200. Our rate is $83 for a King room as well as a
Double Queen room. Suites are available for $129. All rooms include a complimentary hot breakfast. Our blocked rooms start on Wednesday September 8th and run for a maximum of 4 nights. If you have further questions, call Debbie at Lamonster Garage,
(417) 313-2245.
We're looking forward to seeing you in September!

Spyders in the Ozarks has been officially canceled due to Covid fears.

That's too bad. But not surprising. Any word on whether that's affecting Lamonster Garage?
Lamonster garage is back open. They just posted that they were back sending out orders. Im sure this is a good decision for all involved. It is a lot of work to put on a rally like this. I do not see how the staff and Lamont& Joan could have pulled it off. It also put a lot of pressure on the leadership of Ozark Spyderlovers. On the good side, Lamont is doing better. He needs time to heal.
