Is this a record for this site. In 50+ hrs there has been 188 replies and 4565 views to the ( Question??? With all respect ) Just wondering???

I don't know, but the record for most users online was 1016 on 4/22/11 @ 7:27 AM.

As for that post with 8987 current members that means it is possible that 1/8 of all members read the post. I say 1/8 of the members since I know I checked out that post four times (I did not reply, just read) the day it was posted. I am sure there are several that went to it more than my four, and those that posted several times too. Of course I am not a statistics major, and I am just guessing.

I believe Yazz's post about her trip to Alaska was one of the highest number of looks. I went and looked it up. 29,929 looks and 399 posts.

I am pretty sure that you only get 1 count per user. So you could click on the post 100 times and it would only log 1 view. Not sure about that but it's easily checked.

Most likely, the huge majority of this number were non-members who, doing a Google or other search, clicked on the link and thus bumped up the hit count. They didn't post because they didn't want to join and that wasn't their intention anyway.

So, you end up with a huge VIEW number and a relatively small REPLY number.
