• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is S100 safe on Spyder??

Hi,

Was wondering if the S100 Total Cycle Cleaner was safe on Spyders?
I have a 2014 RTL Silver Paltinum Satin and was wondering if this product was safe for the Mat paint.

Has anyone used it?

Thanks,

If you already have it...

...Try it on a small spot that's not easily seen...

For example; under the leading edge of the side storage compartments.
I'm just not sure how it works on a matte surface. :dontknow:

I used to use the Honda cleaner--supposed to be the same stuff. No issues. Now I am using ArmorAll cleaning wipes. About 6 to 7 per bike.

EDIT: I missed the fact that you have the special Matte Silver finish. I know it requires special treatment--so my advise is not good here. See post 5 & 6

He had the matte silver which is not the same finish as your RT

OOpppppppppppsssssssssss! That was a big miss on my part. I remember that the matte silver needed special polish so as not to damage the finish.

My Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad! :(:(:(

The armor all cleaners do work good on my 2014 yellow and 2011 silver magnesium though.

S-100...

Should work fine. It sprays on and washes off. The problem comes when using a rub on buff off type polish...
