Sending PM...
Buuut, I doubt it was actually
Orangecrush, as
SHE hasn't posted here for about 2 years and hasn't been near the Forum for about a year now! However, just before I banned
RonL a few days ago, I found he'd sent a Private Message to another member reading as follows:
Hello, have you tried to ask a forum member here (Orangecrush)
the last time i got wheels from him, he mentioned he has it for
sale you can send him an email for a quicker response
[email protected]
Only that
IS NOT Orangecrush's email address, it's RonL's, and he was a brand new member with effectively
NO posting history - basically, one of the people that the warning in the '
**** READ FIRST! How to Use.... ****' Sticky at the top of the
For Sale by Owner's section (linked below) warns everyone to be extra careful about dealing with!

However, whoever this really is, now that he's been successful here ripping off at least one member, he will almost certainly try again under a new guise, and we really can't see how many PM's new members or longer term but apparently inactive members might send; so we can only keep warning people to be extremely careful in all their dealings thru any form of social media or even just over the internet!!
ESPECIALLY if it's a new member or a longer term but apparently inactive member!! If you can't see enough posts from someone to get some idea of their veracity, then you need to be
REALLY CAREFUL in any dealings &/or sharing sensitive information with them! :lecturef_smilie:
