• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is it worth swapping my Ryker Sport for a Spyder RT 2019?

I have two 2018 RTL. One chrome model and one black model that I have been adding chrome pieces to. The 2018-19's have the full digital dash, which I like better than the earlier models. The 2019 chrome wheels are most likely the best looking wheels Can Am has put on a Spyder in my book.

BajaRon sway bar and car tires will make for a nice handling Spyder.

Seeing you are from the UK, I am not up to date on things that might be different from the North America market.

It’s a bit like swapping a mid range un-faired sports bike for a large long distance, faired in, touring machine.

One is great around town and on surface streets, the other is much better on open highways and freeways.

Same basic concept, very different implementations and purpose.

In the Harley world it would like going from a sportster 1200 to a full dress tourer. Both Harley DNA, but very different vehicles.

Do I need to know about any faults on the RT? It would a big help in deciding what to do.
I am getting a great price offered for the Ryker.

Kenda OEM tires and soft OEM sway bar.

The 0-60 mph time for a 2019 Can-Am Spyder RT Limited (RTL) is approximately 5.5 to 6.5 seconds, depending on payload, road conditions, and the intervention of the vehicle's stability and traction control systems.

The Can-Am Ryker Sport 900 does 0–60 mph in approximately 6 to 7.5 seconds.

So the Spyder RT is not a dog in performance compared to the Ryker! With good car tires and HD sway bar it can be sporty to ride if one so desires. Which I do.
