• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is it OK to run without the long air intake pipe on a 2016 RT Ltd?

Hi, does anyone know if it's ok to run without the long duct that runs down the left front as it seem to me to just restrict airflow and also makes changing the bulb in the lower left light a real pain lol. I can't see it being a problem, but I thought I would ask.

The function of the duct is to bring colder air into the air box. Some of the stage II mods recommend drilling 2 1 inch holes in the cover of the air box to allow less air restriction.

Going down into those lower lights are a pain, just a thought, taking the frunk off seems like a chore but in reality, it really isn't and it will give you all kinds of access to that light! As far as dumping the tube, it could be done I guess, as long as you still have an air filter in that system before the intake! On my 998, I did an airbox delete and put a filter straight on the carb, worked great!
