• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is it just my immagination or

does the Spyder seem to run better when it has a fresh oil change and a full tank of gas. I mean it always runs great but it seems to me that it shifts smoother and runs like a bat outta hell. Maybe I just am less worried knowing that I have 3000 miles before the next oil change, but it sure seems to run better.

My mechanic told me that the spyder will shift better because the same oil for the motor works for the transmission.

Don't know about the full tank of gas. But I do notice smoother shifting with an oil change. My Spyder doesn't shift as smooth now, though, as it did when it was new. Or, maybe I'm just getting used to it.

It's your imagination. :D

Serioulsy though I feel the same way. I think it's just a good feeling to know nice, new clean oil is in the engine.

Hmmm

As long as I keep my oil level within a range, no difference in shifting.
Full tank just gets me further
My runs like mad in a good way when colder, not so good in high temps, I think it's because my engine believes that it's in a skidoo

After having the oil changed the first time, I did notice that shifting was a lot smoother.

Agreed. I notice a smoother running /shifting spyder each oil change and smoother still when I did the full synth. That is why I don't go beyond 3k.

OIL CHANGE? Nobody told me I had to change the oil:yikes:

Just add gas and go. Oh dear.....

Really, you don't need to change oil at all .... Putting a new motor in every so often works just as well! Don't believe me? Ask Doc! :roflblack:

Noticed mine runs bad ass after oil change. Gas? I switched over to di-lithium crystals a while ago.
