• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is it an RT or RTS ?????????

Good afternoon All,

A silly question.

Last year I purchased a 2013 RT or RTS I am not sure.

According to the S/N and BRP its an RT, yet, on the side hard case the reflector shows RTS, I know these could be replaced easily.

Then the headlights are of the RT Limited version.

So, what is it, sounds like a Heinz 57.

Thanks

Dom

I had an issue with my insurance company a few years back when I had my RS as the serial number showed it was a manual when it was actually a SE5. This created quite an issue.

For starters. The RTS has more plastic/chrome pieces on it. The saddlebags usually have an insignia that says RTS. RTS has analog gas/temp gauges, driving lights, and small LED lights in the headlight housing.

Since I took a 2010 RT A&C, and turned it into an RT-S+; I feel somewhat qualified to discuss this matter.:D
If it's an RT-S
There should be satin chrome (NOT shiny!) trimwork on the top trunk, and the side storage compartments, and windshield trim
There should also be foglights on it
The wheels will be black; not metallic silver
You will have an automatic ride control system (ACS) that automatically pumps up the rear shock
You'll have black handlebars, footrests (Floorboards if it's an SE-5), and side metalwork that holds these rests
You'll have analog fuel and temperature gauges in pods to the side of the display screen.
Here's where I started...

With the proper amount of time and cash: anything is possible!

A 2013 RT will have foot pegs. An RTS and RTL will have floorboards. The RTL will have lots of chrome and the RTS won't. Those are the easiest ways to tell the difference.

Well folks, my wife figured it out.

Its a regular RT, with added accessories, like chrome trim, fog lights, etc.

Thanks guys for your assistance.
