• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is Evoluzione still in business?

Tried going to their web site and get nothing. Are they still in business? Was looking to purchase their O2 modifier. Is there anyone else out there selling these? I'm also considering purchasing a Juice box. Do I need the O2 modifier along with the juice box or can I use the original sensor? I'm also biting the bullet and ordering a Kewlmetal air intake. I refuse to put the original air box back on, not BRP's best idea for air intake, I think. Running a HMF muffler right now so think I need the JB and the intake to keep from running too lean. While it's apart this far, My 08 Spyder only has 7400 miles on it but I think it's a good idea to just replace the plugs and wires too. Anything else I might need to do at this point? What do others on this site running these mods like or dislike about them? Also ordered the Honda exhaust gaskets since the right side is gone and the left doesn't look much better. What next?!! LOL.....

I'm running the Kewlmetal airfilter with a Juicebox and no O2 modifier and it works just fine. :doorag:

I'm new to this so I have to ask. What is a juice box and what is it for?:doorag:

The vid didn't explain what it is for.

It changes the bikes ECU mapping, such as air fuel ratios. It is what people call a "Chip" for your spyder. It will increase/free up power and allow your bike to perform better. I don't have one for my spyder yet, but if they do anything like a programmer did to my truck.... the are TOTALLY worth it. Hope that helps.

Thanks to both responses they were very helpful. One other question, Does it void your warranty or effect(sp I can never decide which one to use.) it in anyway?

I just tried the Evo site and only got a home page with nothing on it, so maybe they are out of business. I have found 2 other vendors that sell the O2 mods but neither one has any stock. I put one on after I put the hindle can and performance intake on to take care of some popping/backfiring I was getting on decel after the new parts went on. The O2 mod worked like a charm and took care of the leaner condition. Too bad about Evo; they had good products but the customer service was a bit spotty. I have had good and very bad experiences with them.

BTW, I agree that the stock air box has to be the dumbest thing I have ever seen sitting on top of an engine! I was Very glad to be rid of it...

Unfortuntely Ken is out of business at this time. Hopefully he may be able get things going again in the future. I still have stock of the O2 modifier if you really want one. [email protected]
