• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is Belt Dressing Worthwhile

Hi All! Harley sells a dressing for their belt drives. It came in a tube and I used it on my old Ultra, which seemed to help (better cruise speed, possibly better shifting, etc.). So, would/is this beneficial for a ‘20 RTL regarding noise or life expectancy?

BRP has a belt lubricant available, or at least specs one, but I don't know the details. I saw it mentioned in some maintenance instructions for the belt. You are referring to the Spyder and not Ryker, right?

BRP TSB 2012-4 is it. I believe that is the only discussion about any kind of dressing on the drive belt.

Here's the youtube link where I found it.

Ric, Ha! Idaho, Yes it’s a ‘20 RT Limited. Thanks for the vid. It appears there is some value (I’ll keep the tube).
