• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

iPod question

I finally figured out how to change between just a random run-through of every song, to albums, artists, or playlists,,, :D
I just shut off the bike, open up the top trunk, pull out the I-Pod, and... :opps:

OK, that works

Maybe it's because my iPod is really old but it does seem that the only way to control what's playing is from the iPod; the Spyder/iPod link seems to do nothing at all. Pulling the iPod and forcing something to play then hooking it back into the Spyder works.

Mine isn't really all that old...
It's one of the Nano models: 8 Gb, and about the size of a Saltine cracker!

You have to set up your iPod prior to hooking it up to your Spyder. You can choose playlists, or you can choose to randomly play all songs on the iPod. Then once hooked up, press the mode button on the left handlebar which will get you to the iPod menu. You can then skip songs, but you cannot change playlists. Hope this helps.

That's not correct.
You should be able to change playlists. I do it all the time.
BUT you have to be stopped to do it. It wont let you do that stuff while moving.
