• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

That appears.....

Mine looks like this I don't know what version it is

That appears to be an IPOD Nano 5th Generation. That is as a compatible device. It may be a 4th Generation which is not listed. Here is a link that shows all versions:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204217

I've had trouble with mine time to time. With the tryke off, I've just unplugged it, rebooted the IPOD and reconnected it. Fixes most problems....

I think that the 5th Gen Nanos have that little spot above the picture, where they have some script about the artist and title...
The 4th gen Nanos lacked that...

I ride a 2011 RTSE5 that has the cable in the trunk for an Ipod , MP3 player and what not.
I can change the volume of the ipod from the handle bar but cannot change the tunes.
Is itbecause it,s an older ipod or am I not getting. I have tried everything with the info
screen on the dash? :sour:

You have to be stopped to change the playlist on an IPOD.
When STOPPED
The button to the right of the MODE key
Press and hold it
Then goto playlists and select the one you want.
Then it will start playing that playlist.

Now you can ride.
