• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ipod Nano to 2014 RT-L?

What do I need to hook up an Ipod Nano to the 2014? I bought the Ipod recently and had not tried to plug it in until on the road. Do I need an adapter and if so do most dealers carry them? I overnighted in Sydney, Nebraska and will be headed across Wyoming and Utah where good radio reception gets to be rare. Thanks in advance!

if you are going east when you get to omaha there is an apple store in the village pointe mall and you can pick an adapter up there.

Since you have an RT-L, the unit should have come with the 9pin to 30pin (the original iPad/iTouch/iPhone) adapter. If you have a new generation iPod, you will need to buy the 30pin to Lightening (the new plug) to connect into the adapter I mentioned in the first sentence.

Thanks, I appreciate the help!
Headed West. Picking my wife up in San Francisco then heading up the coast to Washington. Going to take in a Mariners game #17 of 32 Major League Baseball parks. Then headed to Yellowstone Park for 6 days. Estes Park after that and then back toward home. Gotta be home by the 19th. Big difference in temperature out here compared to last year's trip. It's downright cold this morning!:yikes:
