Ipod Nanno

We got an Ipod Nanno for Christmas and loaded it with all our favorrite music and went and plugged it into the RT doc and it would not work .. It came up with need software update. WE went to the Apple and got all the updates there but apparently it still needs an update of some sort. Does anyone know where we can get this update if possible....Thank You

Did you switch the audio mode to iPod/Aux on your display. It does not automatically switch from the radio or other function.

I have one and it plays great right ou of the box AUX mode.

Can you have two things on the Aux. example IPOD and Garmin GPS and if so will the GPS over ride the music on the IPOD when you need to hear directions.

Pretty sure GPS gets preference over the radio or Ipod .

My Nano works great on AUX - but it is the last generation, with video. Apple tends to change connectors with each model…. might be an issue :dontknow:

I also recieved the current IPad Nano for Christmas and it works great on my RT A&E.welcomehyea: I just plugged it in using the cord that came with the spyder and it worked.
