• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

iPhone / iPod Touch as a shop tool

Today, I used my iPod Touch and the Clinometer app to align my ESI risers.

Anyone else have an app they use in the shop or while riding?

I use TomTom for GPS and Pandora for tunes.

On a related note, for the folks using the the Iphone connection on the RT w/Audio, have you noticed the phone doesn't seem to keep a charge while in use?
When using the phone in my car, same applications, it manages to keep charged but on the spyder it slowly loses the charge. If I turn off all applications the phone does charge. So I know it's getting power, just doesn't seem like it's getting enough at least compared to the car charger.

Think I'm going to try it with blue tooth and wifi turned off, see if that makes a difference. But would like to hear any other suggestions.
