• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

iPhone Holder in Rear Trunk

The iPhone cable is so short, I had to come up with something to stow the iPhone. I bought a portable hard drive sleeve and used heavy duty velcro.

I'm a DIY'r too. I didn't think the iPod/MP3 holder that BRP sells is really worth the money (the cheapest I've found was around $40 on eBay), but I needed to keep my iPod Touch from rattling around the trunk and prevent it from being damaged by something set on top of it. I bought a cheap phone holder from Amazon and had planned to remove the belt clip, drill a couple of holes thru the back side and attach it to the side wall of the trunk with screws. When I got the holder, it was made much better than I had thought and the belt clip was not going to be easy to remove....so on to plan B. I kept thinking how I could get that holder to attach to the wall using the clip??...and then the lightbulb came on. I had an old belt that has holes in it, so I cut it down to fit between the 2 screws that hold the right speaker panel and it worked perfectly!

Love that idea

Considering I have an old belt and an old belt case, I'm gonna steal this one, and it will be absolutely free for me. Awesome idea!!

Steal away my Spyder friend....

Thanks for the idea, just went out and did it. I used webbing strap from an old car seat i had laying around and an old blackberry belt case. Cut the magnet off the case so no interference on top and presto, new iphone holder for $0.00!
