• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Intro post

I understand your enthusiasm!

Newbie on this site.
Have been doing a ton of research about the Spyder.
Traveled from PA down to Easton, MD yesterday for the BRP event. Unfortunately, the BRP reps had no 2010 models (even though when I called ahead I was told they would). No biggy, I guess - just wanted as much info as I could get to help decide on what Spyder is right for me.

We DID get to road test the 2009 SE5 (for me) & SM5 (for my hubby).
After that ride - I said sign me up. I was so hyped after my ride - it was hard to contain it.

So - I now know what I want and we have found a good dealer to work with (in Hanover, PA). He is going to call around on Monday to try to locate a 2009 SE5 (he just sold his last one last week).

Anyway - I am looking forward to being a new Spyder owner - as soon as possible.
I was wondering if there are any owner events or get togethers in the PA area? Would love to meet other owners!

My husband says my hand got "stuck" on my Spyder at the dealer and I couldn't move it until the SOLD sign was put on it! You'll have so much fun!

There is a dealer in Mount Bethel Pa. HORNS. I know he has a 2009 SE5 red can am on the showromm floor. Nice to deal with.

Thanks - we've had my red SE5 since last September.
Just had the 1st maintenance visit (a bit past due - 860 miles or so)
